carnegie Mellon university 2023 post doctoral fellowship for African countries. A 2-year, non-renewable postdoctoral fellowship in Black European Studies is being offered by the Department of Modern Languages at Carnegie Mellon University in collaboration with the Center for Black European Studies and the Atlantic. The study of culture and identities in one of the languages the department offers, such as French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, or Arabic, is encouraged for academics with a strong interest in the field. The candidate must have a transdisciplinary understanding of race within the global Atlantic and its intersection with environmental and health studies, women’s and gender studies, urban studies, technology, data, performance, religion, and citizenship. This scholarship is for PhD students.
