We’re looking for an ambitious, motivated and experienced native Android developer to join our app team based in the centre of London.
This opportunity will enhance your current in-depth knowledge of native Android. Willing to learn Xamarin, a technology that allows cross-platform development, you will continue to retain the advantages of native and grow your skillset further.
A valued team member and contributor you’ll be involved in every stage of the development process – from concept to app store deployment. Within the agile team we have dedicated UX, Design and QA resource to ensure every detail is catered for so we deliver the best possible solutions.
We value quality, efficiency and innovation highly. So highly that 1 day each Sprint is dedicated purely to improving code and ironing out inefficiencies that come with continuous delivery, and another day is also dedicated to innovating features and technologies that we could use in our product in the future.

• Follows and improves coding style standards and guidelines
• Understands and uses development patterns where they improve the codebase
• Effectively uses source control
Tests code effectively to agreed level of coverage
• Interacts with stakeholders to provide customers with what they really want
• Conducts code reviews with other developers within the team
Technical Knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of Android with a deep understanding of best practices and limitations.
• Strong understanding of supplementary technology areas such as deployment tools and test automation frameworks etc.
• Demonstrates and mentors modern development techniques
• Liaises confidently with other members of the solutions department at a technical leve
• Domain Knowledge
Shares knowledge with colleagues through demonstrations, documentation such as wiki or blog publications
• Gain and demonstrate a good understanding of the travel industry
Agile
