• Job title: Credit Officer
• Type of employment: Full-time


• Job Duties
Reporting to the Credit Manager and working within this close-knit team environment your daily duties will include however not be limited to;
 Identify lending opportunities.
 Evaluate credit applications.
 Make recommendations to management.
 Structure credit to meet borrower’s needs and advice on payment schedule.
 Ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures.
 Reconciling customer accounts.
 Investigating credit worthiness of clients and advising of subsequent payment terms.
 Prompt & efficient handling of all disputes and enquiries.

 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
 A decisive and excellent time manager.
 Good negotiator.
 Critical and analytical thinker.
 Understanding of loan and security documentation.
 Understanding of financial Statement Analysis.


• Qualifications & Experience Needed
B.Sc Accounting /B.Sc Economics plus MBA or LLB plus MBA, At least 3 years post qualification experience including credit leasing, loan and security documentation, credit risk management, loan recovery.
