NDDC LAUNCHES NIGER DELTA YOUTH INNOVATORS PROGRAMME 2017
The Niger Delta Development Commission has launched the "Niger Delta Young Innovators Programme" for innovative youths with impressions to inventions. An official statement was released by the NDDC encouraging and inviting interested, talented and innovative youths with impressive inventions, equipments and applications to apply within and submit their proposals for the opportunity to show case at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2017.

This event is guaranteed to give the global exposure required to attract international investors and funders to the project show cased.
However, interested youths are required to meet the following criteria:
i. Be between the ages of 19 – 40
ii. Must be an indigene of the Niger Delta
iii. Must have a valid Nigerian passport
iv. Provide certificate of state of origin
v. Have an invention that is unique
vi. Compelling proof of ownership
vii. Inventions submitted must be in the following sector:
a. ICT
b. Energy
c. Oil & Gas
Instructions to application.
1) All respondents should submit a copy of their documents in HARD & EDITABLE SOFT COPY in separate sealed envelopes clearly marked “ICT”, “ENERGY” or “OIL & GAS” - Name, Address and Phone number of respondents.
2) Both sealed envelopes should be put in an A3 size envelope and marked “PROPOSAL FOR"
3) All respondents must fill the submission register while submitting documents.
4) All documents should be addressed to:
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, PROJECTS C/O JJNP Resources Ltd 5 Ezimgbu Link Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
5) The closing date for submission of proposals is Wednesday 12th April, 2017. Documents received will be opened immediately after closing. Any proposal received after the deadline for the submission shall not be opened, such proposal shall automatically be disqualified.
6) Respondents are allowed to compete for only two out of three sectors.
7) Successful respondents will be notified to present their pitch to a panel. The decision of the panel is final.
The 'Offshore Technology Conference' (OTC) 2017 will take place in Houston, Texas from May 1 – 4.
